Architecture
The new teaching facility was designed to meet the growing demand of the College’s academic programme while serving as a focal point on campus. Emphasising environmental sustainability, the curved building relates to the main school by shared architectural palette.
Loveluck Architecture provided the technical design for C3A from RIBA stage 3 onwards, producing all the drawings and information required for construction.
As part of the process, clash detection was undertaken to coordinate the engineers and sub contractors designs with the architectural intent.
By utilising BIM technology, we were able to effectively coordinate the various design disciplines involved on the project.
This process ensured that the original design intent was carefully maintained throughout all stages of development.
Additionally, it helped identify and address potential conflicts early on, significantly reducing the likelihood of issues arising on-site and creating a smoother construction process.
